Kiwifruit
This kiwi fruit is an acidic fruit and originally comes from southern China.
Ripening instructions
Very often you will get them very unripe. To ripen them you have to let them stay at room temperature for some weeks. You can also put them in a (not very cold) cellar.
According to reports you can also ripen kiwi fruits in frosty environments!
Ripening indicators
A good indicator is when the fruit is soft to the touch and smells of kiwifruit.
Season
They get plucked in autumn and you get the through the winter.
